What we collect, and why
We collect personal data only when you send it to us. Through the quote and contact forms on this website that means your name, your email address, your telephone number if you give one, the date from which you need storage, what you intend to store, which unit you are interested in, and anything you write in the message field.
We use it for one purpose: to answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation. The legal basis is your consent, given when you tick the box on the form, together with the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(b) GDPR).
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become contracts are kept for for as long as it is needed to deal with your enquiry, and after that until you ask us to erase it [MAXIMUM PERIOD TO BE SET WITH THE LAWYER] and then deleted. Where a rental contract follows, the data is kept for the duration of the contract and for as long afterwards as Spanish commercial and tax law requires.
Who else sees it
Form submissions are stored in this website’s database and sent to our own mailbox. The website is hosted by IONOS, who process data on our behalf as our hosting provider. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Your rights
You may ask us at any time to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to our using it, and you may ask for it in a portable format. Write to info@palmaboxstorage.com and we will respond within one month.
If you believe we have handled your data badly and we have not put it right, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es).
